Care Point Health & Wellness Center is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist that serves by greeting and helping patients, scheduling appointments, collecting payment, maintaining records and accounts, billing and entering charges. Duties and Responsibilities: Welcomes and greets patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries. Efficiently using a multi-line telephone Collecting information from patients; intake forms, demographics, insurance, photo identification and medical records release forms. Efficient use of all office technology, to include; Allscripts, Phreesia, credit card system and Follow My Health Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information. Optimizes patients’ satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone. Verifies eligibility of patients by Allscripts, Phreesia, website or calling insurance companies. Collects payments due by patients, co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance and other balances. Audit provider progress notes for correct billing and documentation. Provide required AR reporting to supervisor and finance department. Work with batch reports (open and close). Handle cash and balance cash receipts at the end of day. Handles outgoing referrals working from the Allscripts referral queue and any orders per provider, based on patientxe2x80x99s insurance. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Check out patients following orders of provider. Protects patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High school diploma At least one year of receptionist experience EOE/ADA
