Patient Information Desk

Community Medical and Dental Care isxc2xa0seeking to hirexc2xa0an outgoing and caring individual for our Patient Information Desk for a P/T position for some Sundays and the afternoon shift. The candidate is responsible for providing the first point of contact to patientsxc2xa0and creating an excellent first impression while maintaining the safety and security of patients and employees.RESPONSIBILITIES:Deliver exemplary customer service to maintain customer loyalty.Confer with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about services.Greet and direct patients to appropriate departments.Coordinate transportation (taxi) for patients.Facilitate lab services for patients.Sign patients up for the Patient’s Portal.Solicitxc2xa0patient feedback regarding services and take action to solve deficiencies.Ensurexc2xa0the front desk remains organized while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards at all times.xc2xa0Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with both internal and external clients.Basic security as neededProvide assistance to other departments as needed.REQUIREMENTS:Strong strategic thinking andxc2xa0problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAcute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacyA strong-sense of teamwork and ability to execute programsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAt least 1 year ofxc2xa0xc2xa0experience in a healthcare setting, preferredxc2xa0SALARY/BENEFITS:Excellent salaryMedical benefitsPaid Time OffFlexibilityTraining in various specialtiesGrowth and development opportunitiesCommunity Medical & Dental Care, Inc., is a non-profit community health center serving the medically-underserved population of Rockland County, NY.
