Responsibilities Cedar Hills Hospital currently has an opening for PRN Mental Health Technician – Front Desk for our Inpatient Hospital.xc2xa0This position bridges healthcare services, incoming and outgoing patients, family members and vendors, and critical in ensuring smooth communication between the hospital and the front desk.xc2xa0In this role, you will answer high-volume, multi-line phones connecting callers to the appropriate departments, greet all guests upon arrival, assist patients with check-in at the front desk, assist with managing the bed board upon patient discharges, order cabs for patients, assemble paper medical charts, perform general clerical duties such as copying, scanning, mailing and filing, assist with administrative projects for various departments as assigned, manage inventory within your team, and perform data entry.xc2xa0The ideal candidate will have previous front desk/and or Mental Health Technician experience, BLS Certification, and experience working in a medical setting, and/or experience working with psychiatric and/or substance use patients.
