Medical Office Receptionist – Heart & Vascular Specialists Fast-paced, high-volume clinic is looking for top skilled Medical Office Receptionist xc2xa0 Work location:xc2xa0 4370 Medical Arts Drive, Suite 300, Flower Mound, TX 75028 Work hours:xc2xa0 Full-time, 40 hours weekly,xc2xa0Monday thru Thursday, 8:00am – 5:00pm & Friday, 8:00am – 2:00pm xc2xa0 Heart & Vascular Specialists Department Highlights: Strong teamwork and collaboration Fast-paced, high volume Compassion and empathy to our patients and the Team Join an innovative team working towards making healthcare more accessible, integrated, and reliable Here’s What You Need High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Six months Medical experience in a Clinic (preferred) Six months Customer Service experience in a Business Office Environment (preferred) Be an outgoing individual with a friendly attitude Have strong attention to detail Be able to multi-task front desk job responsibilities for a busy Family Practice/Internal Medicine Clinic Must have outstanding communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills Havexc2xa0knowledge of insurance authorization/billing requirements Have demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills Have organizational and time management skills Be proficient computer skills Have knowledge of clinic procedures and regulatory requirements Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism Be a team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment xc2xa0 What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Medical Office Receptionist Process Under direct supervision, performs patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all paperwork necessary to ensure the admitting process is efficient and all clinic and regulatory policies are in compliance. Schedules appointments according to office guideline. Obtains accurate patient and insurance information, collecting copays and deductible amounts. Copies/scans patient access related hard copy materials (e.g., ID, referrals, insurance cards, etc.) into the correct location in the electronic medical record. Prepares charts for patient appointments making sure all necessary information is complete. Confirms next day appointments and alerts patients as to what documentation is needed, including details associated with time-of-service payment.
