POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for tasks related to checking clients in for appointments or services, checking clients out, and rescheduling appointments following receipt of services; scheduling/rescheduling appointments by phone, accommodating visitors; and answering general informational questions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: xe2x80xa2 Creating a welcoming environment for consumers, visitors, and staff; providing necessary triage for walk in assessments. xe2x80xa2 Checking consumers in and out for appointments/services and assisting consumer be seen in a timely manner by notifying appropriate staff. xe2x80xa2 Ensuring follow-up appointments are scheduled at appropriate intervals and coordinating with financial department staff to confirm necessary paperwork and payments are received. xe2x80xa2 Scheduling and providing information regarding telehealth appointments, helping consumers using telehealth. xe2x80xa2 Assisting with response to phone calls concerning schedule/reschedule appointments within agency timelines. xe2x80xa2 Completing daily data entry of appointments status. xe2x80xa2 Distributing satisfaction surveys to consumers as directed by the Quality Improvement Director. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) Education: Associates Degree or equivalent work-related experience preferred. Experience Required: 1-3 years of position-related experience preferred. Required Knowledge: Knowledge gained through prior employment of basic front desk/reception operations, preferably in a medical office setting. Skills/Abilities: Excellent customer relationship skills, excellent phone skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and the ability to use the internet for basic tasks. Ability to utilize Electronic Medical Records. Ability to use basis business equipment.
