The Medical Front desk Associate serves visitors by greeting, welcoming, and directing them appropriately; notifies company personnel of patient/visitor arrival. Together as one, wexe2x80x99re even stronger and making a real difference in peoplexe2x80x99s lives.The combined practice allows us to draw on our complementary strengths to deliver exceptional patient-centered, patient-focused care for a better overall patient experience.ResponsibilitiesGreets all patients and visitors when they arrive.Issues correct paperwork, including all consent forms to patient, guardian visitors and vendors. Provides patients with intake and new patient forms as well as copies of our office policies and legally required documents.Reviews and completes all Outcomes Based Electronic Research Database (OBERD) questions daily.Gives patient necessary paperwork for procedures, prescriptions or therapy as ordered by the doctor.Answerxe2x80x99s patient questions and provide assistance with Kiosks when necessary.Escorts patient to the Pods waiting area.Scans all documents into patient charts and empties the fax in-box.Cleans and disinfects patient area and kiosks after every patient use.May assist other staff members with their duties as workload dictates.Empty the recycle bin, shut down lobby TVxe2x80x99s and any other devices as required, daily prior to leaving.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Travels to appropriate office as assigned by Practice Manger, if required.Lock the lobby door after the last patient, prior to leaving.Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Office Manager.Responsible for timely and accurate completion of timesheets/ time records for hours work and payroll processing.
