“`Duties:- Perform dental examinations and assessments on patients- Diagnose dental conditions and develop treatment plans- Administer anesthetics and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide comprehensive dental care- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems such as Dentrix- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental environment- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and attend continuing education courses Skills:- Proficient in patient assessment and diagnosis of dental conditions- Experience with CAD/CAM technology for designing and fabricating dental restorations- Strong knowledge of medical documentation and record-keeping practices- Thorough understanding of infection control procedures in a dental setting- Familiarity with medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims- Proficiency in using electronic medical documentation systems such as Epic and Eaglesoft- Ability to take vital signs and monitor patients during dental procedures- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and manage a busy dental office Job Type: Full-time Pay: $155,000.00 – $175,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Work setting: Community health center In-person Work Location: In person
