Making a great first impression when you greet our patients. Collecting appropriate information and dataVerifying insurance coverage including but not limited to copay/deductible payments.Collecting appropriate paymentsDirecting patients to the appropriate area of the clinicScheduling appointmentsAnswering phonesWhat We Need from You:High School Diploma or GED required.2-3 years’ experience in a high-volume office doing data entry and medical office management preferred. Demonstrated ability to use MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Spanish-speaking highly preferred Organizational skills including task prioritization and time management.Excellent communication both on the phone and in person.Provide outstanding customer service and leverage interpersonal skills to meet the needs of patients.Dedication to teamwork.Consistent dependability and personal initiative.Mercy’s Mission: The mission of Mercy Community Healthcare is to reflect the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by providing excellent healthcare to ALL and support to their families.
