You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, handling appointments, inquiries, and ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations at the front desk.Responsibilities:Patient Welcoming:Greet and assist patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.Handle patient check-ins and registrations, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.Appointment Scheduling:Schedule and confirm patient appointments.Coordinate with clinical staff to manage the schedule efficiently.Phone Pro:Answer and direct incoming calls, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling needs.Relay messages accurately and promptly to the appropriate staff members.Paperwork:Assist patients with necessary forms and paperwork, ensuring completeness and accuracy.Maintain organized patient records and update information as needed.Billing Buddy:Process patient payments and provide information on billing inquiries.Work closely with the dental office manager on financial transactions and insurance-related matters.Information Hub:Provide information about dental services, procedures, and general practice policies to patients.Keep the waiting area tidy and stocked with informational materials.Problem-Solving Pro:Handle patient concerns and issues with a customer-focused mindset.Collaborate with the dental team to resolve scheduling conflicts and address patient needs.Qualifications:Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or dental setting.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.Proficiency in using computer systems and dental office software (Dentrix).Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
