Dental Assistant/Floater

Requirements: – Must be X-Ray Certified- Dental assisting certification or dental assisting experience-Must be able to learn Care Stream Dental/Practice Works or Dental software for appointment scheduling and record management- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures- Follow OSHA requirements with aseptic technique and infection control protocols/OSHA Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, perio charting with hygienist, sterilization, etc.- Take and mount dental X-rays- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as mixing materials and pouring models- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical histories, charting, etc…- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality -Comfortable collecting patients copays, answering the phones, scheduling patients for recall and treatment, front office duties etc… This is an opportunity to join a dynamic dental practice where you can make a difference in the lives of patients.
