We require an experienced and x-ray certified Dental Assistant who is also willing to take on front office responsibilities. We are willing to train the right person for front office duties. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and professional demeanor, and be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities: Dental Assistant Responsibilities (or willingness to learn): Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient visits. Prepare patients for treatment. Assist the dentist in providing patient care during a variety of procedures. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment. Take and record medical and dental histories. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions. Perform laboratory procedures. Take x-rays. Maintain accurate patient records. Maintain proper infection control protocols. Help to maintain the overall cleanliness of the office. Front Office Duties (or willingness to learn): Enter new patients into the dental software program (Eagle Soft) Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with dental staff to optimize the schedule. Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims. Post Insurance payments and follow-up on denials, etc. Coordinate with patients regarding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and payments. Process payments. Manage patient records, including accurate documentation and data entry. Perform other office duties as requested. Requirements (or commitment to learn/achieve): X-ray certification. Proven experience as a dental assistant, preferably in a busy dental practice. Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in dental software and computer skills. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.
