Certified Dental Assistant

Location: Belmont, MA 02478 Type of position: Long term, Part-time or Full Time opportunity (20-40 hours/week) and with opportunity to grow your career. We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our growing team! Our current dental assistant was just accepted to dental school to become a dentist, she didnxe2x80x99t have any previous dental experience but was motivated to learn. We are hoping to find someone with the same positive attitude to work with us! Our mission is to serve excellent quality dental care while treating patients like family. Responsibilities: Assists for dentists chair sidesRoutine Dental Assistant duties such as doing impressions, scanning, talk to our patients and help them feel at ease, get to know how to make a patient feel comfortable and makes them feel special, etc.Utilize knowledge of infection control to ensure patient safety and careUtilize Dental software (Eaglesoft) for recording patient informationAnd be a team-player (help sterilize hygiene instruments, help the front desk with phone calls, etc…) Qualifications:Dental Assistant CertificationCertificates in Radiology & CPRPrevious experience in dental assisting is recommended but not required.If you do not have any dental assisting experience you are encourage to apply, we will be looking at other factors (i.e.: How energetic and motivated are you? Are you a fast-learner? Are you self-taught, hard-worker individual? Etc…) You must feel comfortable serving a diverse patient population and dress to impress (well-groomed with scrubs when seeing patients).
