Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our dental team. Our office is only open Monday through Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-1pm. We do not work weekends or major holidays. This is a great position for a person who is wanting a traditional work schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing the front desk, and performing administrative tasks. This role requires a strong background in clerical work, with proficiency in office software and the ability to learn new systems quickly. The position also involves data entry, answering phone calls, and communicating with patients and staff. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental office or previous receptionist role; however, we are willing to train. Degree of experience will be factored into starting wages. Duties: – Greet and assist patients and visitors, answering their questions and providing them with information about the practice.- Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.- Perform administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient files and office logs.- Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment.- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that patients feel welcome and cared for.- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.- Assist with data entry and other computer-based tasks.- Learn and operate dental software and other office systems.- Develop and maintain relationships with patients and staff, both in-person and over the phone. Requirements: – High school diploma or equivalent.- Previous experience in a dental receptionist role or a similar administrative position (recommended but not mandatory)- Strong customer service and communication skills.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office software.- Experience with phone systems and data entry.- Ability and eagerness to learn new systems and software quickly.- Computer literacy and the ability to navigate complex software systems.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
