Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and friendly Medical Receptionist/ Assitant to join our Pain clinic team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in Computers, familiarity with medical software, and the ability to handle patient inquiries efficiently. Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities- Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure.- Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the clinic’s calendar effectively.- Maintain accurate patient records and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.- Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information, including Medicare coverage.- Assist with billing inquiries- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient questions or directing them to appropriate staff members.- Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining cleanliness in the reception area. Skills- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical clinic setting.- understanding some of medical coding practices and insurance verification processes.-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are a plus.- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on providing outstanding patient care.
