The position entails multiple responsibilities while enhancing the practicexe2x80x99s culture and patient-first mentality that we deeply believe in. This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday 7:45am – 5:00pm Responsibilities: Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice. Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed. Assisting patients to fill out digital information forms. Preparing patientsxe2x80x99 charts and daily schedules for the dental staff. Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures. Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders. Communicating with dental insurance companies to get detailed benefit breakdowns. Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed. Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, scanning, and faxing. Checking practice email and text messages daily.
