Account Manager/Universal Banker – Client ServicesThe Account Manager at Burling Bank is responsible for providing high-level client service while managing a variety of banking operations. This includes assisting with account openings, completing bank transactions, and troubleshooting issues related to online banking, mobile deposits, and debit card management. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.xc2xa0Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries via phone, email, and secure messagesExplain and inform clients of available services such as deposit accounts, savings accounts, and certificates of deposit (CDs)Establish and maintain relationships with consumer and business customers, assisting in account openings and onboarding processesEngage with prospective clients and gather information needed for opening new accounts, conducting customer due diligence, and entering client data into the bankxe2x80x99s core systemFacilitate business online banking set-ups; establishing access to cash management services (wires, ACH & Positive Pay)Manage debit card-related services, including ordering, activating, adjusting limits, and advising on fraud prevention toolsExecute domestic and international wire transfersPerform teller transactionsxc2xa0Required Skills:xc2xa0 xc2xa0xc2xa0Strong knowledge of banking operations, particularly in account management, teller functions, wire transfers, and risk managementExcellent customer service skills with the ability to manage client inquiries efficiently and professionallyStrong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work both independently and within a team setting, and adapt to changing situationsxc2xa0Qualifications:Associate’s Degree in a business related field or major; Bachelor’s Degree preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in banking or financial services, preferably in a client-facing roleStrong computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce) and banking softwareKnowledge of AML/CFT regulations and compliance procedures preferredxc2xa0Located in the heart of Chicago’s financial district, Burling Bank is a full service community bank that embraces emerging financial technologies and delivers the very best in client services.
